Ha! Ha! to you - that sounds like me and my hubby! I write stuff on the calendar to remember, then forget to read the calendar. All I want to do is go to my workroom and cut little pieces of fabric and stitch them together again. Such is life.

I always make lists, always have and most of the time I remember the lists.
I am good at reading my list and getting really bad about over looking something that we are out of. Really irritates me.

My good friends laugh at me for writing my list on the palm of my hand. I keep telling them "that is the only way I don't forget it". And that's the truth.

My SIL does the same or on her forearm, that way she will see it and remember.

I understand! I lose lists while I'm at the store ... don't ask me how. So yesterday I put my list on my phone. Yep, you guessed it; I walked out of the house without the phone.

Just so everyone will understand, the title of this thread comes from what I say to my wife when I come home from one of my little misadventures, "Well honey, I'm an idiot."

Thank you for a good laugh. My daughter told me to write everything on notes on my iphone. I am deaf so I always have my cochler and iphone whenever I go anyplace. I loose notes all the time.
