Default Well, Welcome to New York State's Second Winter

Hope everyone in this snow storm vicinity is ok with no serious damage to person or property. Can you believe this MESS? I just planted my perennials in 81-degree weather last Thursday and Friday and now there is already 2" of snow and much more coming. We just got back from 7 weeks with our daughter's family in Georgia. I think we should go back!! I look outside and can't believe it!!!!!!!!!! How are YOU doing?

Sorry to hear of your second winter. We barely got the first, so maybe you have the dubious honor of getting the one we missed???

We just drove from OH to NJ yesterday. Told DH we had our timing right for a change. Only had rain on the trip. But had things been just a bit different (ours/storm's timing) it would have been a nightmare.

It's snowing in West Virginia too. We're in a valley so you can see it in the air but it isn't sticking, but up on the mountains it is completely white. Poor flowers and birds.

I may want to trade you. It hit 100 here yesterday and again today. Everybody in town was in the hardware store trying to get their coolers up and running as it was only in the 70's last weekend. I'm getting too old to climb on the roof in 100 degree heat and dismantle, clean and reassemble the swamp cooler.

Here in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, we lucked out. Just cool and rainy. But we so need the rain, so I'm not complaining.

Sorry to hear that! We here in WI are still wondering what happened to Winter. Never really had any. Sure puts the allergies into overtime way too long.

I'm only a few hours east of you and we have nothing. It was raining this morning but the sun actually peeked out a bit this afternoon, things warmed up but now the cloud cover is back and cool again. We are expecting rain.

It's rained here all day, cold and damp. However no snow and hopefully we won't get any. Sorry you got hit.

No snow here in southcentral PA. Just a lot of rain...which we did need....and breezy. Of course it's a lot cooler than it was last week. Supposed to warm up by Thursday. Really strange winter and spring here.

I'm one of those who hates winter so can't wait to get this system out of it's system. lol
