Associate degree, B.S. in Education with emphasis in Home Economics. Then 20 years later received a Masters in Library and Information Science. Whew! I sometimes wondered if I would make it out of high school!

It took me from 17 to 30 to earn my BA, finally done while pg with my DD. Then, after two years working part-time and parenting, I started a PhD program. Husband split (with my urging--LOL) in my 3rd year. Being a single parent was hard, but it taught my daughter about school and homework and delay of gratification and working toward a goal. If I could have quilting my dissertation, I'd've been done years earlier! as it was, I have my doctorate in clinical psych. Always told DD I' pay for her BA but not MRS! She is now certified to teach ESL and lives in Madrid!

I used to LOVE college classes...but in 78 I got an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from the Institute of American Indian Arts, Santa Fe, New Mexico and a BA in Social Work in 93 from University of Montana. Took me 5 years to get that one, now I am cured of wanting to take college classes in anything!
