I went to Smith Mountain Lake near Roanoke,VA. We slept until the furkids really Had to go out. Then we ate at a local good Deli. DH took me for my first motor boat ride since 2009 on this huge lake . Mountain leaves just turning. ( Our summer was extremely hot. ) We docked and ate at a neat little Mexican place for lunch. The sunny day was about 86F. Lake nice and pretty quiet. Very relaxing.
I worked on the little condo, while DH worked on the boat.
Had to pack linens and towels to come home for holiday guests arriving in five weeks. Lovely day for "just us".

Went for a 45 minute fast walk in the morning, ate half of a sandwich, toured the sculpture walk downtown and then made a HUGE pot of chicken vegetable soup. It's a beautiful day - in the 80's here in Sioux Falls!!

Knowing it was 10-10-10, my husband and I thought we'd be silly and celebrate, so we each had 10 M & M's

(but not at 10:10)

I did some cooking and clean some of my braided rugs. It was so nice out for my rugs to dry.

It wasn't a beautiful day here... rain, rain, rain. However, I did get a pattern written and made a big turkey dinner for my dh. He is getting ready to deploy and since he will be missing Thanksgiving and Christmas, I thought I would surprise him with a special dinner. He will be eating turkey left-overs for a week.

It was a beautiful day in southeast Mi too, & most of the day I was working on a customers alterations. My workroom has 2 walls of windows, so I enjoyed the sunshine anyway. Tomorrow I hope to get back to my bargello.
