My grand girls call me Grandma, while my son-in-law calls me Grandma Cecile.

To avoid any mix-ups for the DGD, we're called Nana and Papa. The in-law set of grandparents are called, Grandma and Grandpa.

We are called Nana and Papa. The other grandmother is called Granny. She gets a little annoyed because children can say Nana a lot sooner then they can say Granny.

We are Mimi Baby Yow and Grandpa Brian to my grandchildren in Maine. Their Mom's parents are Mimi and Pop Pop. To tell the difference between the 2 grandmother's the kids added Baby Yow (little kitten) to my name because ... Yes, I had a baby kitten at the time...
