One granddaughter called me Grandma as a toddler, but when she realized her cousins (5 of them) all called me Nana. She slowly dropped Grandma and started calling me Nana.
Talk about being influenced by the crowd LOL

Some of them call me nana and then others call my nanny. When my youngest daughter got pregnant and had my now 5 yr old grandson she wanted her kids to call me GiGi so now she has two and that's what they'll call me (one if only 3mos)

Our grandchildren and great grandchildren calls us OMA and OPA, which is Dutch (and German) for Grandma and Grandpa. My husband is Dutch.

My friend's grandchildren call her HONEY as that is what her husband has always called her. They all picked up on that and have always called her Honey. She loves it.
