mine aren't talking yet, but I am looking forward to being called Nanny. Every grandmother on my mothers side has had this name, and my 3 sisters have had to pleasure of it for years now. My turn is finally hear and I get it from sweet boys.

I called myself G'Ma, since that was what my mother signed notes to my daughter with, 30 years ago. My grandson Phoenix (just 3) did Gma briefly, mutated to Jabba (sounded like Jabba the Hut of star wars!!) and is now and has been Jah-Boo. his 18 month sister Aurora is now working on Jah-Boo so that is who I am!

I was suppose to be Nana, but our oldest grandson at age 14 months decided I should be Nina, so I am Nina. My husband is GP, needless to say short for Grandpa.

Yes, when I talk to them on the phone the first thing they say is "Is Grandpa there?"....they adore him....I'm a second thought right now, but don't mind it cause I know they love me, but are really INTO Grandpa right now...LOL!

I'm not a grandma (only 28!) but my daughter calls my mom - Mom Mom and my grandmother Nana. She has never met her other grandparents.

They call me Am'ma (first grandchild tried "Grandma" but it came out Am'ma. My husband is Pops & Poppie. They call my mom Gigi for Great Grandma.
