Such adorable names for grandmother and grandfather. My grand nephew used to call my mother, his great grandmother, "Grandma Great". Thought that was really cute.

When our first grandchild was born, my husband and I were not yet married, and she called me Kaky (my name is Kathy), but that name stuck; all the rest born after her still call me Kaky...my husband is Pawpaw...I think naming grandparents is an honor the first grandchild has the privledge of doing. Most of the time, the grandchildren born later all use he same 'title'. However, since what they call me is unique, I absolutely love it!

I am Nana and my DH is Abuelito. My mum is know by the almost 3 year old as Mo (he wasn't able to say Nana Maud)...but she loves it. Said she went 72 years without a nickname but doesn't care as long as he calls her.

My grandson couldn't say "grandma", and it came out like "meena", so that's what I've been called for the past nine years now! I still get funny looks from people when he calls me, "Hey, Meena!!" Guess I should just get used to it - it's not going away... :-)

The older grandchildren call me Grandma Davis & the younger 2 call me Grammy. My great granddaughter calls me Neemaw & her little brother 1 yr old doesn't call me yet. I suspect it will be Neemaw also.
