I was one of 8 grandma/great-grandmas when our oldest grandson was born. I planned to be called Granmama (my children call me Mama, not Mother), but when he tried to say it, it came out Meemama. He is 27, there are 10 pther grands, and I am still Meemama. Granddaddy is just Granddaddy.

We are NonniePa. the girls and gkids make us one person - started when the oldest was staring to talk, he's now 11, and now everyone calls us NonniePa.

I'm grandma to some - bebo(bay-bo) to others. My son-in-law is from the (former Soviet) Republic of Georgia and bebo is the Georgian word for grandma. My husband is Papa to all of them.
