I am surprised (and delighted, I must admit) that I'm not the only Oprah non-fan! I thought it would be considered sacrilege. Too much self-aggrandizement, it's all about her, her, her. I also liked DHC. Don't understand why one network can take over another channel.

Well I for one am an absolutely amazed fan! If you took a few minutes to watch her life classes, you would be pleasantly surprised! When you think of all the crap on TV...and compare this show...wow...I think everyone should watch this show...how different our world would be! In this world of Me Me Me...... this show helps us learn how to be all the best that we can be, and shares how we can become better human beings. I LOVE it. Please take the time to watch a couple segments, you may be pleasantlyt surprised!!!

I couldn't stand to watch her on TV, but her magazine was a good one ! Now that she has her "OWN" channel I could care less. Its either DIY, Foodnetwork,Cooking Channel, HGTV , History Channels, Discovery Channel I rarely watch any other channels !

while we are on the subject, am I the only member of the female persuasion, who is insulted by the fare that is offered on networks that are "geared to women", like WE? weddings, wedding dresses, moms, babies, cakes, gossip, -- I feel like I am back in the 1950's. I happen to be a woman who enjoys watching 60 minutes, Charlie Rose, documentaries, etc.
