What I Did Over Christmas Break

We homeschool, so when the kids are on break, I get a mini-break. In the evenings while we were watching Christmas movies I brought some things out to the coffee table and kept myself busy. These are what came out of those evenings.

You must be very talented. I swear I can't watch tv and chew gum at the same time, much less create such a wonderful and varied collection!

Would love to know how you did the different snowflakes. Looks like bonded material or are they out of paper:

Those delicate "twisted bits" are so intriguing. Can you tell us what the process is to make those?
And, PS, you sure can make good use of time and material.

The woven ornaments are pieces of fabric that are bonded to poster board, cut up into strips, and then hot glued together at the ends. The patterns can be found at most quilting sites like Keepsake Quilting or even your LQS.

And while looking for sites that carry the instructions for the woven ornaments so I could post back to you, I found another cute ornament idea!! I think I'll need a much bigger tree next year!!
