i think my first one lasted not quite 7 years.. this one is going on 11........
just like a mattress.... 10 yrs tops...

I bought the cheapest of the cheap washing machines I could find 10 years ago still works great -- I so want a shiny new front loader -- but I know that if I replace this one it will die in 5 years or less.

With my new fridge I have noticed that if the freezer gets turned down (colder) everything in my fridge freezes regardless of the fridge setting

We just rid of our 1967 Fridgedaire refrigerator, still ran good but, manual defrost, I hated that and told my Husband it was time to get rid of it. We only used it for drinks and over flow. The one we used for food was moved into it's spot. I love my new one with bottom freezer.

That's what my appliance told me also. They aren't made to last like the old ones.
