Default What podcasts do you listen to? What do you recommend?

When I am working traveling or sewing, I like to have music on. I do enjoy listening to podcasts. I enjoy listening to true crime, paranormal, and meditational podcasts. I haven't listened to a quilting related one but I do know there is one out there.

I recommend:
True Crime Fan Club
We're All Just Pretending
It's Haunted, Now What?
Pleasing Terrors
Medium Matters
True Crime Garage
Already Gone

I also listen to the quilting podcasts zozee listed ...plus another great one..

quiltfiction.com

This is a podcast where the author of the book narrates the story titled
Friendship Album 1933. Each new episode appears typically on a Friday.

I don't do a lot of podcasts myself, but I do find Joe Rogan entertaining and since my hubby listens to it, I guess I do too Joe has a definite PoV and has a wide range of guests from comedians to MMA (mixed martial arts) to health to all sorts of stuff.

I tried listening to Pat Sloan's podcast while driving on a long trip once. It mostly consisted of her interviewing different famous quilters by phone. The subject matter was interesting, but the person being interviewed on the phone was always very hard to hear... while Pat, in studio, was coming in loud and clear. The volume had to be turned way up to hear the guests, which made Pat way too loud. The inconsistency in volume drove me nuts, so I gave up that podcast.

Are most quilting podcasts like that?

I've heard some podcasts in the past that have poor quality. Some have gone back and "remastered" their first episodes for that reason. Maybe find a newer episode?
