When I visit my sister in Tuscon, I ALWAYS go to the Quilt Market. Their fabrics are awesome and as someone else posted here, they have lots of finished quilts on display. Just a beautiful place to enjoy. I also like Bella Quilt works.

I love both of these stores.

I'm a Phoenix winter person and my shop hop quilt group's favorite quilt shops are 35th sew and vac on Northern( huge shop), from there go to Quiltz. Across the street from Quiltz is The Patric Lose Studio. Then go down to The 3 Dudes and then on to 35th Chandler ( smaller than 35th North). We always eat lunch at The Paradise Cafe... 10 and Ray Road. Then head south to Tucson. You'll be amazed how many bolts of fabric are at 35th Northern!

well. I've been in Phoenix a few hours now ... and SPF 30 might not be strong enough ... off to 3 Dudes shortly!

The Bernina Connection at 4219 E. Indian School Rd. is one of the friendliest shops I have found in Phoenix. great quilts, classes, and several lines of fabrics I haven't found elsewhere.

I agree with Quilt Market and Quilt Basket in Tucson--great shops. So is the Squirrels Nest in Sierra Vista. Just got a notice that that shop in Benson is closing the 30th of June Quiltz and the 35th ave shop in Phoenix are a must see as well as 3dudes.

Liz, what did you think of our storm today? I live west of Phoenix where there was plenty of dirt and sand flying around my car. I hope you were safely inside!

now that I'm safe in Tucson {giggle} -- that was quite a storm in PHX last night!! lightning and thunder and high winds and heavy rain - lasted about an hour, was it?
I did make it to Quiltz and 3 Dudes in PHX ...

well, I'm back!! I'm pretty sure I hit every store listed above!! I managed to buy so much fabric that I knew I'd never fit it into my already-stuff knapsack - so I shipped it back to me by FedEx on our corporate account (the bill for shipping should be OUCH-y). Ooooo, I can hardly wait to get the box home and sort through my treasures!!
