You know, I am just thinking about how many of these kids nowdays who text cannot spell their way out of a paper bag! And now we are doing it! The only one I use I have used for the past 50 years. My dear husband is my OAO - one and only!

Has it gotten down to where we are too busy to even spell out a word? Edie

your not a goof I asked it a while back myself and never use them. It takes me more time to remember than to just type in husband and sometimes.. dear is not the word that best fits in front of it.

I have been wondering about these acronyms. Was a navy wife for a career and it was their way to give the abrevs. and now the texting gangs, oh gosh they even put it on the crawl on the news screen. I feel like I'm in another country sometimes. So thanks for posting the site. Maybe I can keep up better, now. Blessings Ruth

Your comment made me laugh, as "Dear" also might not go in front of mine. I too was wondering if there was somewhere to go to get the list of DH, etc. Thanks for doing it for me.
