I'm seeing a pattern here. I'm with the pack. I bring water or tea or coffee with me and set it down away from the sewing table. I sip when I am pressing.

This raises a question. If we sew so much and we don't eat while we're sewing, then why are there so many chubby quilters, INCLUDING ME!?!

A mix of peanuts, raisins, M&Ms and cashews...Hershey Kisses and if I need a real boost - mini Snicker bars!

I've heard you SHOULD DRINK while sewing - it MAKES you Get Up occasionally - KWIM? LOL

Just coffee or water for me. Depends on the time of day.
Speaking of which I better get off the computer and head to the sewing room with my coffee now. :D

I don't eat in the sewing room but I do keep handy and chocolate snack when I make a boo boo. It makes me feel better about ripping it out. :-)

I'm with most of you, I don't eat while quilting. I sometimes bring my iced tea in and set it in the window beside my sewing machine. I need to get up and move around frequently, go to the bathroom, get a drink and stretch my back and legs before I go back to sewing.
