Snack? No not when quilting. I forget to eat and drink. When I finish sewing, it's eat, eat, eat. Anything and everything in sight.

I keep a glass of flavored water handy all the time, but I don't eat in my sewing room. In fact, sometimes I get busy and forget to eat, or don't want to stop when I DO remember, and then I end up cranky.

(By the way, my waistline does NOT reflect this!  )

I always have a glass of iced tea (out of spill range)...but I hardly ever have snacks. Light-colored fabric and chocolate just don't mix!

I do not eat while in my sewing area but I always have a big icy glass of Diet Dr Pepper well away from the actual sewing area. Learned the hard way while scrape booking to never get the drink too close. :)

I don't snack while quilting. Which is kinda interesting now that I think of it, my sewing room and kitchen are the same room!

No eating while sewing. My sewing is in the basement, so I keep my iced tea and any snacks (popcorn) in the kitchen, makes me take breaks to rest my arthritic back.

I always pour myself a glass of Diet Pepsi, place it out of range, then forget about it. I start quilting and I forget to eat or drink.

I'm seeing a pattern here. I'm with the pack. I bring water or tea or coffee with me and set it down away from the sewing table. I sip when I am pressing.

This raises a question. If we sew so much and we don't eat while we're sewing, then why are there so many chubby quilters, INCLUDING ME!?!

A mix of peanuts, raisins, M&Ms and cashews...Hershey Kisses and if I need a real boost - mini Snicker bars!

I've heard you SHOULD DRINK while sewing - it MAKES you Get Up occasionally - KWIM? LOL
