I got a DVD, kept it BUT when they sent me a bill I used their envelop to send a letter with the rules from the postal service and indicated that the next bill I got would be responded to by my lawyer -- I sent it with return receipt. Never heard another thing

We had subscribed to magazine for over 20 years. I got a bill that congratulated me on being such a long customer and they said that I would never have to worry about renewing the magazine again as they would automatically renew it for me -- and they wanted a credit card so I would not be bothered with a bill. I responded (in their prepaid envelop) that I was cancelling my subscription and I never wanted to receive any solitications from the company again. I really enjoyed that magazine, but I will not associate with a company that does that.

I am letting most of my subscriptions lapse -- I love the National Geographic and don't want to quit getting it.

I haven't received anything like this but on occasion when I'm feeling kinda mean...I stuff their "no postage due" envelope with a bunch of junk mail (making sure my name is not on any of it) and mail it to them. Just makes me feel better. haha Yeah, I have a mean streak in me sometimes.
