I, too, am reading Fern Michaels' Sisterhood series. I found them all on E-bay, and I am pleased I can read them in order and not have to hunt for the next book.

just starting The Christmas Quilt. # 8 in the Elm Creek Quilts series. Love these books! Nice read plus learning a lot about the underground railroad.... Thanks QB for suggesting them.

"The Help" on Kindle, soon to be a movie. Before that I read "Water for Elephants" and they both are very good. I've been picking up old books from the Jean Auel "Earth's Children" series lately ~ have a craving to read some of the older stuff from established authors.

The Snowman, Jo Nesbo's newest mystery. Excellent, one can, as I do, skip the gorey parts.

You can find most all of Jean Auels book on Amazon, then under used books. I have gotten my books that way all the time. I have never recieved a book that was in poor conditon. I need to read hardcover because I cant see the print in paperbacks. Also I have not paid over 10.00 for a book. Good luck her books open up a whole new world.

I'm reading The Elephant Keeper. So far it is so good. It takes place in the late 1700's when most people had never seen an elephant, and written like it was actually written in that time period. Very different and interesting. It's not my usual fair, but I am so enjoying it.
