We live in a small town of about 2000. We are probably best known for the Matthew Quigley Buffalo Rifle competition held every Father's Day weekend. Last year there were 630 shooters from all over the world. About half of the competitors dress in period dress. My husband & both of my children shoot in it. Tom Selleck (Matthew Quigley) signs all of the trophies. If you have every watched the movie "Quigley Down Under", you will see the type of rifle that is used. If you are interested, I will take some pictures this year and post them.

The lowest crime rate in the country for a city over 100,000 thousand people for 2010. Every year we are on the top ten lowest crime rate cities in the country.

The coast of FL we live on is known for the many treasures on sunken ships that were brought here during the 17th & 18th centuries by ships, including pirate ships.

Like SewMomma66 mentioned, Florida is known as the “Lightening Capital of the World.”

hmm, hard to pin it down to only a few...Manhattan, NY is "the Big Apple"--home to theater, statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Central Park, Museums galore...site of the former World Trade Center.

I live in a small town that was on the Underground Railroad. And two Castles, Mac-a-Chee and Piatt Casltes. Both had slave quarters and hidden rooms.
