What is your city known for?

St. George Utah has many wonderful golf courses, mild winters - no snow!, great for retirees, tourism, National Parks galore, Marathon, fabulous medical facilities, city parks all over the place with splash pads, wonderful Pioneer heritage, good clean moral living and home of Superior Threads!!

LaPine, Oregon --- the youngest city to be incorporated in Oregon. Just happened 3 yrs ago! But people really know it for it's extreme temps. Can be 90 during the day and 30s at night. We've had snow every day of the month.

We have a bumper sticker that says "if you believe in global warming, spend a winter in LaPine" LOL

Tallahassee, the capital of the state of Florida.
We're just 70 miles from some of the most beautiful beaches on the Gulf of Mexico (St. George Island) and we get some of the best seafood in the country.
Florida State University (Seminoles) and Florida A&M University (Rattlers) are both here. FSU is playing Okalahoma tomorrow and it's a big deal. The ESPN Game Day guys will be here tomorrow from early morning until the end of the game. Kick-off is 8:00 p.m. tomorrow. Go Seminoles!!!
