From personal experience:

"No good deed goes unpunished." - I had to learn that a few times.

"Life doesn't go in a straight line".

Men have 3 million brain cells ... just to give you an idea of the Unemployment situation.
And another: While we deliberate about beginning, it is already
too late to begin.

I've got a saying from each grandmother, passed on to my mum and dad.

Mum, when asked what was for pudding, would say "Three jumps up the cupboard door." Dad, if anyone was late getting out of bed, would yell upstairs "The man's coming to flood the beds!"

Jean D - My mum used to say "get a wiggle on" meaning hurry up. Plenty of Irish blood in our family .

Mine is below my signature.

Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. Picasso

It's my way of expressing that art and being creative washes away the stuff life throws at us and gets us in to a rut and stressed. Through art, in my current case, quilting, life gets less stressful and the dust just disappears.

Mine came from my mom mostly

You'll live! or Such is life.

In a hundred years from now it won't matter.

If you're not bleeding or you're not throwing up I don't want to hear about it!
