what is your favorite all time saying (quilt or non quilt related)
#71
I have a few - depending on the situation:
I only chew my cabbage once (in other words, I say something, I don't have to repeat myself)
Never empty handed to the kitchen go (in other words, if there is something out of place, put it back where it belongs)
Life's riches other rooms adorn - but in a kitchen home is born.
How 'bout a glass of wine? It's been a busy day!
No one said life is a bed of roses
Take time to smell the flowers
My favorite? Make it a good day.

I heard this a few years ago and it really spoke to me:
"Man is born to joy and woe,
And when this we fully know,
Safely through the world we go"
I think it's an old English saying but would love to know if anyone knows any more about it.
