First of all.....CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I am so jealous...I'm hoping to be on the 5 yr plan and am already starting to look at becoming a snowbird...I was thinking of doing a post to all our Florida Quilting Family in hopes to find a place there for the winters.

A few asked about my job as an fraud investigator. I work for the Canadian Government in one of their programs. Job is very busy, but like most jobs it can become boring. It makes you shake your head about some of the people in this world.

I have done a lot of bookkeeping and finance in my earlier career.

If I could do it all over again I would have been an accountant.

The good news is I only have 12 days of work left and then I am RETIRED! Then who knows what will happen ..... first we will be snowbirds for the winter.

Wife, mom, CNA, grandma, LPN, RN, great-grandma, and now I take care of other people's little ones. I take care of babies that mom's and dad's don't want in day-care until a little older. I take the little one with me wherever my DH and I go. They learn a lot about fabric and colors. LOL

They are surprised when they see that mom works hard to keep things going at their house! I never let kids get away with my mom is "just a housewife." It is not "just" anything! And when men say that? Well, let's not even go there.

I use to work at Holland Stitchery, and was a nurses-assistant. Now I am disabled. I spend my days making quilts.
