Geriatric Registered Nurse Manager and before that I spent about 25 years as a Claims Examiner Technician in the insurance industry.
Should have done my most recent career first as it is far more personally satisfying!

Lets see first I was a keypuch op, then I was a toll collector, and then I decided I want to drive truck semi. I did that from 1988 till '05 I really enjoyed that, then drove a medical bus or van, I have worked with race horses years ago but now I am on dissability. I really miss the traveling part of driving the truck but other than that I'm hoping in time I might be able to go back to work doing something. Maybe a fuel desk cashier I did that too before the toll.

I started out working in banking during my Senior year in High School and coninued with banks for about 14 years. Then went to school and worked as a sign language interpreter for 2 years in a developmentally disabled classroom. First year I just loved it but second year was very stressful because of some changes so quit and went to work for a water color artist. After 9 years with her, went to work at a local casino and then became a supervisor, again working in the "bank " within the casino. Retired from there after 11 years to take care of elderly parents and start my own Interior Decorating and Staging business. Pretty much forced into retirement because of the economy this year. Don't really mind, more time for quilting that way!

Started out as medical and Chiropractic Assistant, then became a stay-at-home homeschooling Mom to 7. Still at that, with 2 left at home, but now single; current jobs: p/t daycare of my granddaughter (see avatar), p/t Youth director and p/t wedding coordinator at Church, trying to find some way to use my sewing to make some extra money in my "extra" time - what's that again?!

I started in sales in a dept store, became an ass't buyer in women's wear. I put my knee out and had surgery.
My love was to help people, and I loved putting smiles on senior citizens faces. To do that, made it so rewarding. So I became a nurses ass't.
I then worked in private duty
Now, retired
