My deck looks just like yours but I live in Canada. I didn't think that Utah would get snow like that as you are a long way south of us. Our temperature is -7C which translates to about 28F I think. I just got back from dropping off my daughter at college just over an hour away. The roads are bare and dry mostly with a little ice in some places.

We have some snow here. Not as much as you do.

This amount of snow is very unusual for this area. It sounds like Florida is the place to be!

DH said that in the newspaper we've had 19 inches of snow this past week. Can't see that at our house, but everything is covered in at least 8-10 inches of snow. The temps are increasing but tonight, Monday we're due for another 6-9 inches. What the heck!! I love a White Christmas, but this is way too early!! Hope it's not the way it's going to be for the winter season!! On the plus side, I started decorating the house for Christmas, the earliest ever!!

Its cold here - but - it IS winter. Also. the weather channel, forcasts on ALL the tv stations, and computer weather predicted MAJOR ice /rain/snow for Thanksgiving. We almost cancelled our trip. MOST of the roads were dry as a bone, the rest had mist...go figure!

Had a (as my father would say) Gor-Jesus day yesterday. The sun was out, a lot of the snow has melted, streets are pretty much clear now and I got the whole outside decorated for Christmas. Now I hope it does snow because it looks so "fairyland-ish". I am sure we will be getting Utah and Montana's weather after it sweeps through South Dakota. The sunrise yesterday was unbelievable. This morning it is dark grey with little peeks of light coming through. Looks a little ominous, clouds are moving a little fast and seem to be going NW. Clash comin'!

It's ok! Typical Minnesota weather. Get out there and get everything done before it hits and then just sit inside and do your thing before it stops and you have to go out and shovel. Me? I am going to decorate the inside of the house, make a pumpkin pie, get my Christmas Cards out, write my annual letter and then if there is any time left over, I am going to cut out some blocks (then I put them in a baggie, label them with fabric and pattern). I have gotten three more cut out, have seven more to do - I am going in parcels of ten - my quilt has 48 blocks - ten made - ten in the bag! That's the way I do it. Have to make the pumpkin pie because with the company my husband didn't get his pumpkin fix, so I'll do that for him today. Edie

Well, we got an inch. Boring. Wishing last night for lots more so we wouldn't have school today. Bummer. I think teachers love snow days more than the kids.
