The temperature today was around 95 with all that stormy weather. Tomorrow the forecast is for more of the same only heavy rain and hail stones, but the temperature will be about 89!!! Really looking forward to that - not.
Queenslanders and territory people please come and take your weather back. We don't want it.
I love the sound of rain and thunder too but when it's hot it gets really humid. We should be having dry heat not the tropical humid heat.

Missouri always has humid weather - I agree its awful. I dont like thunder and lightening. I usually bury my head in covers - it was so hard for me when kids were growing up not to pass my fears on to them - must have done okay - they both like to watch it and love the sounds. I used to live in area called tornado alley. Actually saw a twister - then ran to basement for shelter lol after the threat was over we went riding around - about 10 blocks away it had destroyed our civic center and random homes - it is so strange - one house is totalled and the one next door maybe has a few shingles loose but otherwise untouched!!! I have seen this and its one of my worst fears - whenever the sirens go off I am in basement lol

I agree, don't like the humidity, hot is ok as long as it is a dry heat.
More thunder and showers tomorrow...yahoo, come on the rain!! Need that water.

We're not selfish Litacats, we would gladly share our weather with you in WA. We are supposed to be the driest state but I think you have inherited the title this year. Hope you get some rain soon.

Over the summer we had strange weather. Generally we would have rain every couple of weeks but I can only think of 6 or 7 times where it rained this last summer and boy was it hot and humid.

Humidity is a way of life here in the summer but I agree it is miserable. I'd take it rather than the big ole' misquitoes we get tho. I believe I would get a good book and cup of tea and try to enjoy if I were you! Storms still make me very uncomfortable.
