What's your favorite saying?

My favorite is my signature line...
two more of my faves are:
"I'll burn that bridge when I get there" by the secretary at work
"It's not a road trip till you've made a U-turn" i say this all the time to remind those in the car with me that we need to enjoy our trip, not just the destination.

that reminds me of when my son was small. he was ...fretful (my daughter says). he was always afraid that we'd get lost when i drove. why? i wonder. i kept telling him we were not lost - we were on an adventure. didn't fool him for one minute. he's still afraid to drive with me.

Whenever we'd whine about not having whatever the latest "thing" was that "everybody" else had, my dad would tell us: I cried because I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet. Scared us as kids but means a lot now.

'When your reach for what is healing, healthy, and loving, the Universe (God) steps in to support you."
And my kids, when younger, used to always say
"You can't keep a good dog down."
I have no idea where they got it, but I've always remembered it. lol!!! :)

On good days, I like this one which I've stolen from someone's signature line:
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming “WOO HOO! What a ride!
On bad days, I go with John Cougar Mellencamp's "Life goes on long after the thrill of living is gone."
