Think my best one is going the the BIG show.....Houston International Quilt Festival! I go just about every year the end of Oct or first of Nov. I love this vacation. There is about 1,100 venders and 350 class and and a whole lot of quilts to look at. What more could I ask for???

I have only been on 2 cruises. The first was a 4 day Mexico cruise with my whole family for my parents 50th annev. The second was a 7 day Alaska cruise with DH's mom, step dad, brother and wife and sister and cousin.
They were wonderful. I would love to do some more. Especially alone with DH.
Just getting away from all the phones and stuff and having time alone with DH or with family is great!!!

Would love to take a nice long road trip across the U.S. with a motor home or a camper trailer (no I don't have one)

or just relax and enjoy !!!!!!!!!

I like to do road trips too. DH and I love to just drive. But it seems like always push ourselves way to hard. Drive too long and then we are worn out. But I think what counts the most is just getting away :-)

I used to go camping a lot.I've been through all the Canadian provinces, 20 states, seven Caribbean islands, 9 European countries, my health doesn't allow me to do those travels anymore. Whenever I feel like hitting the road, I take a bus and discover corners of Montreal and its suburbs, where I didn't go for a long time. I may go to little Italy, try some new food , stop at a bakery. I don' t need to plan ahead, make reservations, carry luggage. I still enjoy those trips in my own city.

Renting a Houseboat on Cave Run Lake. No running here or there. Relax, read, play cards, swim, fish and eat. Ready to do that anytime. Stress Free vacation. OH!! how I wish we could do that this year.

How is quilt shop planning going? Are you finding interesting shops to stop at?
I have had several people send me names and addresses of shops in Ohio & PA so I am compiling a nice list. I leave 3 weeks from today!!!
