I love all these precious pets!
Baby sleeps on the floor in my sewing room when I'm in there and Mookie has a spot in the window.
Carmello gets mad at me when my floor is a mess and he stomps around looking for a spot

Thanks, Christine. They're my little rescue angels. I lost one this month. I need to work out Blue resource guarding and then I'm hoping to adopt another. Blue's coming along really well with the resource guarding so probably in a few weeks I'll be getting another rescue.

My Kali Bug is a rescue as well - she suffered mild social issues that we've worked through over the years. My DH currently has his eye on another dober-girl from our favored doberman rescue. This will be our 5th over a few decades.

While we strive to give them a wonderful 'new life' they certainly give us so much more

Christine

Love seeing all the pics of your pets. Yep, my quilts come with dog hair! My Saints (including Scout in the pic) have all been rescues. Often people get a Saint puppy because they are so cute - and then they get big, slobbery, and hairy, but they are the gentlest souls. Scout has been a challenge because he was abused (left outside to starve, weighed 80 lbs when found) but after 1 1/2 yrs he is my constant companion. Oh, and he really rescued me!

Sherlock, the fox hound. Always watching me as if it's time to go for a walk.

My Golden Retriever Molly was my constant companion at my feet when I sewed. Sadly we lost her July 2...I actually couldn't sew for quite a while because I missed her presence and even now I still look before I move to check if anything is around my feet.
