I also like the Gloria Vanderbilt "Amanda" jeans. They hit at the waist instead of the hips and come in all colors.I buy mine at Kohl's.

I can't find jeans small enough in local stores that fit me. I'm a size 4 to 4 relaxed. So several years ago I had a pair that fit well. When they wore out I ripped them apart & made a pattern. I now make all of my jeans just like factory made right down to the special rivets. I found a rivet setter & rivets they use in factories. My husband had a special plate made for it to fit on my leather press. It takes me on average 2 days to make a pair of jeans. If I decide to do embroidery it may take 3 days. The down side if jeans fabric went up $3.00 a yard when cotton prices increased! OUCH!!

I'm short and wide...have found jeans at JC Penney, petites that fit well, right length and not too wide legs to make me even look wider!

I buy mine at Kohls. They fit better than any other jeans I have ever bought and are reasonably priced. Their Croft and Barrow brand. I'm also a very hard to fit person. I'm only 4'10" and not exactly thin.

I've worn Style & Co. for years. Their a basic jean and stretch, which I like. There about 25.00 but last forever.
I have about 12 pairs. When they start to wear I just make them into shorts or pedal pushers!!

I get mine at Fleet Farm - Chic Jeans - elastic waist in jean denim and I also get slacks made by Chic and in the jean pattern only they are dressier. Love them. Nice and comfortable - specially since I dropped down several sizes over the winter, spring and summer! My favorite is a black slack with a pale blue pin stripe running vertically top to bottom (isn't that the same thing?). Sort of like the 1930's gangster pants!!!!! Edie
