I buy the refill kit on Amazon. It will refill many times, usually the cartridge will go bad before I run out of ink. The new Lexmark printer ink is only $5 for a new cartridge. The printer cost about $300 but well worth it in ink savings.

I buy a refill kit and refill a cartridge about three times before I have to worry about the costly replacement cartridge.

We bought an HP printer for about $150.00. The ink cartridges are about $50.00 for all the colors plus the black, as it has one for each of the colors. I buy them from the HP website because I bought some at Costco and the colored ones fit, but not the black! I have tried other places over the years and have not had good luck, usually they don't work and are just a waste of money. I never get around to sending them back, I'd rather be sewing!

I have a dell printer and i am having the same problems with buying too many cartriges and it is getting really expensive, while i am shopping for a laser printer because when you buy its toner it lasts for 3000 pages, but meanwhile i found this supplier on ebay with decent prices compared to others and ships fast:

I already bought twice and didn't have problems at all.

My question to you is: Where do you purchase your printer ink online?

Thank you for your time.
That's cheap! I get mine at Office Depot and pay twice as much! My walmart doesn't have it.

sometime ago I found a site called Inkgard that sells their own HP cartridges that have much more ink in them for a cheaper price and include a free software DVD to allow you to decide what ink-usage level to use for each print job. For instance to save 10% up to 90% ink. Can't find my receipt, but a really good value and you don't have to buy them so often.

I always set the print job to fast economical print, never best quality print. If you don't know where the settings are look it up. Google where is the print settings on _______ computer. It will save you a lot of ink. I seldom print in color and use the selection print to only print out the text or pics I want, not the whole page.

I ran out of ink once and had to print. I used a refill needle and put in a little rubbing alcohol and shook the cartridge and got the pages printed just fine.
