Who's your quilting buddy?

My Boston Terrier, Lady, has to be in whatever room I am in. She used to lay on the rug under my sewing chair so that sometimes when I moved it I hit her paw.
I put a bed for her under the sewing table but she wouldn't go in it for MONTHS. Finally, this past week she started laying in it when I sewed! FINALLY! I guess she figured out it's safest there...LOL.

I don't really have one but am reminded of something by your stories.
Last week I had the two youngest grandchildren here for the day. The tote bag their Mom brought their things in was pulled apart at one seam. I took everything out and took it to my sewing room (I keep the door shut when they are here) My granddaughter followed me and watched with interest as I prepared to fix it. When I started to sew, she said "Oh Grandma, be careful and don't sew your fingers!" Then she said I was so nice to fix that for her Mommy.
I used to have two cats that loved it when I was sewing. Unfortunately my GS has asthma and couldn't be around the cats. I hope their new Mommy lets them help her as much as they did me! :D

I quilt by myself at home. But every Thursday when the clock strikes 5:00 pm its time get in the car and head to the church where I quilt with 6 other quilters. We have so much fun. I can't forget all you wonderful quilters on the board. Sometimes I feel as if your all right here helping me.
