I tell hubby the reason why I don't shave mine much is because I'm already married. lol
Told him if I were still dating/looking for someone, I'd shave, but since he doesn't complain much....I don't shave much lol

you shave your legs in the winter??

I don't shave mine in the winter quite as often because, doggone it, it's cold outside & I'm wearing pants most of the time anyway.

using an electric shaver does help that itch. my skin is terribly sensitive and i use an electric shaver now. also put moisturizer on often. and get older and lose hormones. i don't have very much hair on my legs now as it is!

Love the avatar, marsye! Love the attitude of the questions even more! Why do we do most of what we do...conditioning! Age does make it easier to forego...but, if there's an event...like a retreat or a meeting or something special...well, shaving goes right back up on the list of things to get done to be ready! Yall know..."I shaved my legs, this better be good!"
or the "and I shaved my legs for this?" and the "You're so special...I even shaved my legs!" I'm bettin' somebody else can come up with some more of these...laughter is so healthy! I doubt it will take away the itch of winter shaving, however...LOL!

I shave mine using a manual shaver (not electric) and just water in the shower, no soap or cream. Never have bumps or itchiness. I'm no expert, but maybe you're shaving too hard? Don't press on your skin, just touch the razor to it and lightly brush along the surface.

A light lotion might help with the itchiness, if shaving more lightly doesn't. Chances are the itchiness is from dry skin. Shaving off the outermost surface takes away what little protective oil is there and just aggravates the dryness.

Also think about drinking more water, which helps dry skin in general.
