it just seems like its been worse than any other year or maybe my memory is short. My husband says I start complaining about the cold in August and it last till June so maybe that's why I just hate being cold BUT TODAY ITS 40 DEGREES

I agree, and my utility bills have almost equaled my rent! Not in my budget that way!

I dream of 40 degrees LOL. I live in a snow belt and we have 3 ft of snow and haven't had warm enough weather to do much melting. Truly has been a tough winter with so many storms. It is 22 now and we are supposed to have a high of 32. DH is driving down to Daytona with his BFF the end of the week for the race. I am envious of the warm weather they will have, not the 20 hr drive, in my honda civic because the gas mileage is so good.

Hubby and I moved from upstate NY because we couldn't stand the weather any longer - now is southeastern NC. It was cold here in Jan. and beginining of Feb., but hitting the high 60s and into 70s now. YAY!!!!

I agree that some areas have been hit TERRIBLY HARD this year.
We've been fortunate that it's been a mild to typical winter (except for 20+ inches of snow in one day).

Yesterday we're on the start of a warm up. High Thursday 46!
Have faith! Daylight hours are getting longer too.

WASH THEM CARS OFF QUILTERS! Don't get your quilting supplies dirty!

E.T.A. The birds are chirping this morning! Maybe they can smell the warmup!
