why are people so sick.. My FIL passed away aweek ago and some women has come out of the wood work claiming to be his wife with a 17yr. old son.... ha why why must people put more hurt upon loved ones.. My DH says big deal she can't prove anything and he is not worried about it at all... although nothing is in his name (FIL). It still makes me want to find out where she is a give her some hurt of her own.. I know this is not what God would want me to do. But I am only human, and I do not want my DH to have to deal with some sick person trying to take advantage of us in our grief... this is a sick sick world.

I am so sorry for your loss. It seems like death brings out the worst people. I don't know why... Hope everything works out for you.

I am sorry for your and your DH's loss . But, perhaps your DH has a new brother. They can have DNA studies done to confirm. This may turn out to be a wonderful blessing. And maybe this 17yo needs to have an older brother to help into adulthood. It is very common that when someone dies you find "surprises" hidden in the back of the undie drawer. When my grandmother passed we found that she had been married before and had lost a set of twins. It may not be about the money, or things. They may just need some support and love too.
