Wind

Wow, we had some intense wind here a little bit ago. The wind speed was 40mph. It blew our trampoline a block down the street. My dh had to take the lawn tractor down and drag it back with a tow rope. I'm sure it's ruined now. The top supports, that hold the safety net, are completely bent down.
The kids and I were playing a game at the table, when the trampoline lifted up off the grown and toppled over and over down the street. Needless to say, it scared us all. I was afraid it would hit a house.

The Kansas weatherman calls 40 mph wind "blustery." We don't even get high wind warnings for winds of less than 40 mph. The wind blows here so consistently the trees all point north. It normally blows 5 to 15 mph every day.

Tornado Warnings are being issued here...and weather guy says fast moving storms with winds 40-60 mph will not be uncommon.
I guess I better pay attention and look outside every once in a while to make sure all is well here.
