I upgraded and like it fine. A few things to get used to.

I understand internet explorer will not be supported that much longer since windows 10 has its new browser Edge.

I had Windows 8 or 8.1. Wasn't happy with it. Heard Windows 10 was a lot better, so I upgraded. I don't like it either. I'd switch to Apple (I have an. iPad) but I wouldn't be able to transfer all the pictures I have on my Windows 8.1 or 10.

I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 shortly after it became available without charge. This is probably one of the best decisions I've made.

For me, Windows 10 runs as smooth as silk! Two months ago, I added Microsoft Office to replace my dependency on Google. I subscribed to MO and have auto payments by EFT monthly.I couldn't be happier with the software. Granted, there is a MS engineer in the family. My independent opinion comes straight from the mind and heart.

I downloaded the Windows 10 myself and haven't had to consult with the MS engineer to run the software.

This has been posted many times, but bears repeating. If you purchase a new computer with Windows 10 loaded in, it will be fine. You should not have any problems at all. But, DO NOT upload windows 10 on your existing device. You may be one of the lucky few who do not have a problem, but, are you willing to gamble on that? The company will continue to support your system for a very long time. You d o not have to worry about it. By the time they stop supporting the current systems, you will probably be in the market for a new computer anyway.
If you are a gambler and want to use their 'free' upgrade, PLEASE back up everything you have because chances are really good you will loose it and need to go back to your older system.

Ugh - my husband upgraded to Windows 10 and complains about it everytime he turns his computer on. He told me not to do it.

I have windows 10 and enjoy it except for the keys not always working so I have to retype my things, other than that it works the same way as my prior computer. Good luck
