I will try both and take pix..these runners don't use much fabric, so might even add the batting to FILL up a QT jar!

Could you fit all the fabric in the jar? I can see attaching the pattern with a string around the neck of the jar but the fabric is inside right? I would totally fall for the packaging gimmick and buy it right up! I am such a sucker for clever and at a charity thing-Oh yes!

these will be sold at my local bazaars..I wouldn't chance mailing jars...the USPS is losing too many things these days..and breaking even more!

I got a quilt kit in a mason jar a few years back. 2 in fact. They were for a wall hanging of canned veggies, you know like the bugs in a jar quilts. Just the quilt top. Gave one to my sister and still have the other. Very cute as the seller tied a bow a raffia around the top. I think they would sell well.

I bought one for a wall hanging of fruit in jars and it was in a jar. That's what caught my attention.

hey..I have tons of those veggie fabric FQ's... might have to design a quilt using them and put them into a jar...great idea!

I think the jars would be a fun package for them. I once bought some small wall hangings that were packaged in paper coffee cups. I thought they were very cute.

I think putting them in a jar would be so unique that you would sell more that you would if you used plastic bags.
