Nope! Definitely NOT! I do have a 301A, but I'd still like to say I have a Featherweight......just because. Since I have the 301A, I won't consider a featherweight that is priced out of this world!

Not unless it was a godzilla (crinkle) finish or a free arm (222).

definitely not worth it. I have two; one in fantastic condition including the decals; I paid a little under 300 for it because I was getting it from the UK and I paid more for shipping than the machine. My second one I got it at our thrift store for under 30; it came with the wooden hood case. I make sure they are in great condition because I'm not going to put alot of money in one reconditioning them. I want to get one for each of my grandkids so they'll not be expensive; I have 6 and one great granddaughter. keep looking you'll find one.

I think some sellers have very high expectations. Too bad, they will probably have to haul it home again at that price

No (on the FW) - but I've always wanted to see that garage sale - or at least travel part of it!

All I can say is eBay!!! I got mine in mint condition, checked at sewing machine shop, timed, oiled and with accessories, book and a nice case for $280.
