I throw out leftovers too. We have raccoons, possums, turkeys, foxes, etc. I have been known to bake corn bread for them.

Fantastic! We have squirrels, racoons, red foxes, coyotes, gaggles of geese and a once in while turkey vulture. We feed the squirrels, the racoons munch on my garden in the summer and the other guys are on their own.

I wish some of our neighbors would be as nice as you are for feeding the wildlife. down here they trap them and turn them over to animal control to be euthanized right away., possums, skunks, and other wild animals. that's why they are called Animal Control. people dont' want them in their back yard. I just wish there was more wild area for them to go to instead of having their life ended. Somehow, it just doesnt' seem natural. I mean the wildlife was here before we were.

We are animal lovers as well. We feed the deer corn and have salt licks for them too. The chipmunks eat various seeds we feed the birds. We have to fill three large bird feeders and two squirrel feeders twice a day. They are wonderful to watch out our breakfast room windows.

Beautiful pics. Thanks for sharing. I would be afraid of the skunk. We have a cabin between Birchwood and Hayward and love Northern Wisconsin. Our neighbor lady is from Glidden, so it is a small world.
