Oh my, I'm jealous, I need to move to the country. I want animals like that, I do get chipmunks, I never new what to feed them, usually peanuts, I never knew that they ate peanut butter on bread

They are really nice pictures of your yard critters and the pics are so good. You ought to make a memory quilt with all those pictures and call it " Our Yard Diners" I just love Wildlife and nature.

Because wild critters get used to eating at feeders and lose the ability to forage naturally. They then teach their babies to eat at feeders and then never learn to forage naturally. Humans move or pass on and then who will feed them?
