My daughter left a year ago to serve with the Army Reserves in Iraq. Just got a message at 7:15 this morning that she is out of Iraq and on her way home!!!!!!! I am so excited to have her out of there. It has been a long year for us and for her new husband. It will probably be 10 days to 2 weeks or so before she actually makes in into town here but SHE'S OUTTA THERE!!!!

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!! What a great piece of news to get!! I'm so happy for your family - and let you, your daughter (and all those other men and women in uniform) know this little family in California is thankful and grateful for her service to our country. I know exactly how you feel, My Grandson is finally home also. He Arrived at cherry point,naval base last Wed. Is as I key this computer only 15 miles from me. He arrived in Georgia late last night at His Mothers house. He will be here in a couple of hours His Grandfather doesn't know, we are going to surprise him. We haven't seen him since last Thanksgiving. He left for Iraq Jan.2009. So both our prayers have been ans. HOME SAFE!!! He doesn't have to go back,this is his 3rd time. Thank God!!
Enjoy your Daughter she is now safe and out of that hell on earth.
