Default Year Word?

I've been choosing a year word for at least 10 years, don't know why I started, herd mentality probably :P
I have a rock painting friend and I commission her to make them for a friend and I.
I keep mine on my desk and see it every day and has been a great help keeping me on track the direction I wish to go.
2019 is equilibrium, 2020 is perspective.
I will not be sorry to see this decade gone, it has been stuffed with terrible stuff for me.
And I will keep my perspective....

My last years word and hope was boring. I can entertain myself but this year was not boring. There is still hope for a boring 2020, right?

With the year being 2020, the word should be Vision. As I saw on Facebook, People with glasses should be happy, it will be the first time they see 2020.

When my grandson was in kindergarten he had an assignment to find out the favorite words were in his family. Mine was “Joy”. Eleven years ago it wasn’t written everywhere like it is now. He is 16 now and I am sure I will get another decoration from him with “Joy” on it. It really is a great favorite word and I live with it in all its forms: joyful, enjoy, joyous, etc. Joyfully yours.

I always look forward to a. As you get older you should be excited for year.My word would have to be . always have a Positive Attitude. We have this man in our Sunday School Class. Think of Forrest Gump, this little man reminds you of him. Every Sunday he always raises his hands in praise and tells us to have a .

Mine for 2020 is "anticipation".
For the first time in a while I am looking forward to the coming months, to the things I get to do and things I have to do, to sewing weekly with my newish sewing buddy, to being back in the creative energy mode again (after a nearly 3-year slump), even to learning to deal with and manage pre-diabetes and the changes that requires. I anticipate another several-week-summer-visit with my daughter and adored grandson who will be 33-months-old then and smart as can be. He will challenge me, thrill me, wear me out, and delight me, and I can't wait! I anticipate how our retirement community's new tenant board (VP here) will improve our lives and the suggestions the rest of our residents will come up with. I anticipate the changes I plan to make to my living room arrangement and decor. And I anticipate all the lovelies with embroideries and vintage linens I plan to make with designs rattling around in my head. Yep, "anticipate" is my word this year!
