...When you are so engrossed in thinking about how much fabric you need for a quilt that you turn on the coffee machine, but forget to put in the ground coffee and DH asks you why you want him to drink hot water... (happened this morning!)

...when you greet your friend at church and tell her her skirt is just beautiful and if she ever gets rid of it to let you know because it would look great in a quilt.

I tell the guys what nice ties they have and if they want to give it a new home, I'd be happy to take it. I've gotten a couple that way, and they are in a crazy quilt necktie quilt!!

I guess I can admit it to you guys.....

When I meet someone new who doesn't quilt, I find myself talking a lot about my quilting to try to get them interested. It is just so exciting to me. I'm never bored and my only problem is that I have dreamed up so many quilts to make I could never make them if I lived to be 150. The great news is that I actually got one nonquilting friend quilting........

    "Spread the love"

LOL I love these. Have to go for surgery and first thing I did was baste a quilt to hand quilt while recouping. And me I get grumpy if I don't get to run my machine for a week. The sound of the machine is very relaxing to me. My daughter just doesn't get it. I get the blank stare and Nice Mom thing if I show her something.
