We have hawks, raccoons, possums, bobcats, badgers, armadillos (yes they are now this far north), coyotes, and cougars. Yep, cougars. The conservation department has spent several years denying it, but they are here---I've seen the tracks on our place and several of our neighbors land as well, and we've heard them. We don't walk in the woods at night....

We live out of Canon City about 45 minutes,close to It's called Wet Mountain Valley.The bear was just down in the field from us.
Biscuitqueen,i stay with a friend in Lakewood,just past kipling.You hear them at night howling.

When we lived in Denver (Highlands Ranch) we saw bobcats and red foxes frequently. The authorities used to caution people about not leaving dog food outside because the bobcats would come into the backyards.

We loved all the wildlife there, but you do have to be careful.
