Our paper said within 10-15 yrs,mail will only be delivered 3 times a wk.Doesn't really affect us.When we traveled in an RV,we got mail once a month :)

one town near me is closing but the one where I live and the one my little hometown. are safe for now. The little one in my hometown has been threatened with closure for years. it would be sad, it's a little rural crossroads town and the PO is pretty much the hub of the town. Most of the others little stores have closed as the owners aged and retired.

Me too!! Population of 189.. I host swaps so if we lose our PO I refuse to drive the 20+ miles one way... So far our Po has squeaked by the list and working extra hard to stay out of the red - money wise.. ....

We're losing 5 smaller ones and the Main one in down town-plus 9 more in the little towns outside of the city limits This is unbelievable :thumbdown:

Looks like WV is going to be hit very hard. Very long list, but thank goodness mine isn't on the list.

I saw and read where they will put them into storefronts. Using small stores like 7 - 11's to hold small areas for postal stuff including mailings.
