I find that with this quilt board, even if you are alone you are not lonely. Jump right in and give it try. I love it and I hope you will too.

Hi Jan,

Thanks for the warm greeting. Your grandma is so right about continuing to learn - if you don't you become a burden to family and that is something none of us want. You made me laugh when you passed up your doctor appointment - so cute. If I miss a doctor app. they would think I was dead (ha). I am trying to get moved quickly so I can devote time to learning this skill - I would like to make quilts for women's shelters but at the speed I'm going - who knows.

Thanks for your reply.

Hi Murphy,

Thanks for your warm reply. My first boyfriend was from Sioux City and my last from Cedar Rapids (not sure you would call him a boyfriend) I am a native Californian. I can't wait to start learning quilting and there are so many nice people here.

Thanks for your reply. I can't wait to "jump right in". I can't say I am ever lonely but nice to have friends to talk to even if by computer. I'm still teaching myself the computer - what a wonderful we now live in.
