Fairly new from Montana

I have posted a few replies, but realized that I had not introduced myself. I have been quilting for about 20 years, but am always learning new things. I have tried several different types of quilting, but my heart belongs to traditional quilts. I recently retired from 30 years in banking, but still work part-time as a Community Education Director. I have a son in college in Idaho and a daughter who is a Senior and looking at college in Ohio. My husband & I ranch. My other hobbies would be traveling & reading. I have enjoyed reading all of your advice and love that some of you meet when you happen to be traveling!

I have been watching this forum for a few months, and yes, I do love it. I have joined in the Live Chat a couple of times, but I'm not sure that I do well with all of the different conversations going on! But once I get to know people better, maybe I'll fit in better! I am glad to finally quit being a wallflower!

I live in glasgow, MT. with the live chat, you just have to jump right in and keep coming back--that way you'll get to "know" people and it really is enjoyable. i try to do the chat at least a couple of times a week. Also, try one of the many swaps that they have on here, that's an awesome way to get to know ppl too! Glad to have you aboard and not being a wallflower anymore!! enjoy!!

I will continue trying the chats. I think I wil wait with the swaps, though. I have 9 quilts I have to get done for graduation this year. All of the tops are done, 2 are completely done, and I need to get the rest quilted. So I don't want to commit to anything else until after graduation or I will have to be committed!!!

My son is vacationing in Florida right now with members of his Honors College. We have been watching the weather there and it looks very cold!
I grew up in Circle & have relatives in Great Falls.
