Welcome Karen - It's interesting to hear different perspectives on whether quilting is a growing or declining art. I'm the first in my family to take-up quilting - my mother, grandmothers, aunts, etc.. were very active sewing garments, knitting afghans, crocheting, cross-stitching, etc.. none were interested in quilting.
